Nose: Red and dark fruits (cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant), liquorice and black pepper.
Palate: Flavours of ripe fleshy red and black fruits with long persistence, rich body, velvety tannins, and a good acidity bringing freshness. Serving: At room temperature 17-18°C.
Food and wine pairing: The Haut-Peyrat terroir offers a rich and full-bodied Bordeaux wine with fruity notes. Good with grilled and cooked meats (beef, duck, lamb), game meat and traditional dishes (beef stew, rib steak with Bordeaux sauce) or a nice cheese platter.
